Anti-Slip Technical Information for Terrazzo, Porcelain, Ceramic, Encaustic Cement & Zellige Tiles

Ensuring safe, stylish surfaces across residential, commercial, and public spaces is central to our ethos. This page outlines how our tiles perform under international anti-slip standards including PTV and R-Ratings, and how you can make informed surface choices for your space.

  • ✔ Use PTV (36+) for UK specifications.

✔ R-Ratings support international, hospitality, and back-of-house use.

PTV remains more accurate for barefoot or public-area specifications in the UK.

      • Porcelain / Terrazzo / Cement: Consider anti-slip treatments like Stone Grip or Grip-It T for high-risk areas.

      • Maintenance Tip: Clean with pH-neutral products. Avoid waxes or anything that builds surface residue.
